What makes faith so amazing and extraordinary is the fact that faith to the mind and the flesh is not logical...Faith in other words, can be considered crazy to many. However, that is what makes faith so valuable. Faith allows us into a realm much greater than our own visual and audible world. In order to obtain the faith that we need in God, we must first let go of what the world believes is logical....because God is not of this world....
Faith for me is like a mountain to climb...outwardly my flesh rejects scaling this mountain, however, I know what waits for me at the top.....thus i shall pursue....
The Lord has created us...."us" being the broken, the sick, the empty, and the lonely in such a way that we must call out and rely upon him for strength...God can not be formulated, He can not be tamed, He can not be calculated, controlled or fully understood. To the contrary, God is wild, unlimited, and flowing with prolific wisdom...He is the elaborate creator of all things...God is full of raw power, and He is a warrior for all that is good.
We often wonder about the places in this world filled with turmoil, hurt and pain, poverty, war, sickness and disease...and we often question where God is in these proclaimed "God forsaken" places....but God IS there. We are coming to a time where our world is considered in constant recession (and I don't just mean our economy), and will only get worse the more that we shut God out....I feel that if God were allowed to dwell in these places, that we all could be much better off....but it first starts with me....as it also does with you............
